What We're All About

Learning is an extremely personal experience, and yet most teaching has become exactly the opposite. Matrixrose wishes to re-personalize the teaching experience, convinced that this will unlock deeper learning and understanding.

I have homework, too...

Any teaching experience, to be meaningful, is linked in learning with the student. Not only must I prepare each lesson according to any changing needs of the students, but I must present things to learn with them.

English Instruction

...organically from someone who has learned to speak four languages fluently (and several others less fluently). I understand your pain! All ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction focuses on speaking.

School Experiences

Matrixrose has taught at private and public High Schools, as a math teacher and as a special education teacher. This has instilled a philosophy of embracing all learners.

Mathematics Instruction

Whether for homeschooling or SAT / GRE / GMAT preparation, Matrixrose is familiar with the US common core as well as other math curricula, having graduated from a German High school and taught in other college-prep environments.
